Pretty Parts of Florence

Last night I ended up going to the Piazzale Michelangelo where I sat with some friends, and watch the sunset over Florence. It was one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen, the way the city just lights up with the sun behind it. My friends and I were seriously there for 3 hours, just sitting, talking, and taking pictures. Today I went to the Boboli Gardens, which are located about a 25 minute walk from central Florence (where my apartment is). This place was beautiful, we spent most of our day walking around enjoying the nature around us. Living in a city is it hard to find a place that only has trees and flowers so it was the perfect change in scenery. We then walked back towards the center, with a gelato stop of course. Now I am tired and going to start my homework that is due next week. Off to Venice in the morning! Ciao!
